RHC is a place where you can connect with others who share your faith and values. Our community is composed of diverse individuals who are committed to supporting and encouraging one another on their spiritual journeys.
Through fellowship events, mentorship opportunities, and small group gatherings, you'll have the chance to forge meaningful friendships and build a strong support network.
Welcome to Rescue House Church . We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:
We believe that we grow the most when in community. You can expect to have a lively, fun atmosphere before and after the service, where newcomers to the church as well as those who call Rescue House Church their church home can be found engaging in life-giving fellowship. And YES- we love good coffee. :)
No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Rescue House Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we have care available for infants and children. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time.
You will hear sound, biblical teaching and preaching from whomever is speaking. You will hear a message that inspires you to grow in your faith and is applicable to your everyday life. We will sing songs with biblical themes, and invite the Holy Spirit to guide our hearts and minds as we come together to worship Jesus.
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.Â
We strive to be people that pray first and not as a last resort. We pray for each other and others believing God hears our prayers and moves (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Next Step: Develop a routine of prayer
We believe that it is growing a relationship with Jesus, that saves us and shapes us (John 3:16).
Next Step: Surrender your life to Jesus
We believe that everyone has a seat at the table of the RHC family (Acts 2:42-47).
Next Step: Get in a small group
We believe that our purpose here on earth is to love and worship the Living God by giving our time and talents to build His kingdom not our own (Romans 12:4-8).
Next Step: Take a gifts assessment & start serving at RHC
We believe the church is not a building to attend but a body whose mission is know God and make God known (1 Corinthians 12:12-27 & Acts 1:8).
Next Step: Share your testimony with those inside and outside the church.
We believe God has called us to be radically generous with our time, talents, treasures, and testimony (Acts 20:24).
Next Step: Live, love, and give with an abundance mindset. See a need, meet a need.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
The Bible is God’s story, divinely inspired, and without error. It is the primary authority on faith and living. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
Jesus is the God-man, both fully God and fully man. He was born of the Virgin Mary and lived a sinless life on earth. He became humanity’s ultimate sacrifice by being crucified on the cross and paying our penalty for sin. Three days later he was resurrected from the dead and conquered death, opening the door for those who put their faith in Him to experience salvation. (Matthew 1:20-25; 16:15-16; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1-18; Acts 2:22-36; Romans 8:3; 32-34; Galatians 4:4-5; Philipians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:12-22; Hebrews 1:1-5; 7:22-28; 9:24-28; 1 John 4:15)
The Holy Spirit is the ever-present and active presence of God in the world. It is the spirit that regenerates those who repent and believe. It is the spirit that empowers followers of Jesus. It is the spirit that guides people into truth, and it is the spirit that convicts us of our sin. (John 14:15-18; 16:7-15; Acts 15:8-9; Romans 8:1-27; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 John 3:24)
Salvation is a gift from God through Jesus’ work on the cross. It gives freedom from sin and restores our broken lives. It is for all who choose to put their faith in Christ. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. (John 3:16-17; 14:6; Romans 3:21-26; 5; 6:14; Galatians 2:20-21; Ephesians 2:1-9; 1 John 1:9)
The Church has the mission of continuing the redemptive work of Christ in all places, at all times, and in all cultures. It is not a building. It has no walls and knows no boundaries. It is men, women, and children who follow Jesus and share in His mission. It is a community committed to the cause of Christ. (Jeremiah 29:4-7; Matthew 22:34-40; Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 4:12-14; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23)
